Donald Trump has made no secret of his contempt for Politico, and he went a step further on Thursday, calling the website so dishonest that he won’t even deal with it anymore.
Appearing on “Morning Joe,” the real estate mogul denied a Politico story that reported he’s been courting the mega donors he publicly slams, including billionaires Sheldon Adelson, Paul Singer and the Koch Brothers.
“Politico is so dishonest in so many different things; this Politico website or whatever the hell they call it,” Trump railed, adding that he won’t even deal with the politics site anymore because he deems its reporting dishonest.
Trump continued to state his case against the “scam” of Super Pacs and denied asking Adelson for contributions, acknowledging that he spoke with him once, but never had conversations about money.
“All he wants to do is protect Israel, but I don’t want his money,” he said about the casino mogul.
Politico didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment regarding Trump’s criticisms.
