Hope Etheridge has been promoted to chief operating officer of the Television Bureau of Advertising.
Etheridge, most recently VP of finance and administration at TVB, joined the trade association of local television broadcasters.in July 2000.
Before that, she spent 16 years as business manager for WFSB-TV in Hartford, Conn., and prior to that was program finance manager for ESPN.
"This promotion and new title reflects the sweeping nature of her importance to the organization," Steve Lanzano, TVB president, said in a statement. "She is an indispensable part of the senior TVB team."
