Fox has restructured its event series department, which will soon not include Shana Waterman and Jeni Mulein, who depart next month, an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap.

The effort, an attempt to streamline programming efforts, will have new Fox Broadcasting Group President David Madden overseeing the current event series slate until a new structure is in place.

Waterman is currently senior vice president of Event Series; Mulein is a vice president in the department. Both will be assisting in the transition, the individual said.

A Fox spokesperson told TheWrap: “We remain committed to event series and event-scale programming.”
