Fox News Contributor Mocks First Lady Michelle Obama’s Weight: ‘She Needs to Drop a Few’ (Video)

Dr. Keith Ablow’s comments stun fellow panelists on “Outnumbered”

Fox News’ “Outnumbered” debated the nutritional merits of public school lunches Tuesday morning, but the panel was stunned into silence when Dr. Keith Ablow interjected with a disparaging remark about First Lady Michelle Obama’s weight.

“How well could she be eating?” Dr. Ablow asked, after the program played a clip of Michelle Obama advocating for proper nutrition in schools. “She needs to drop a few. Let’s be honest. We’re taking nutrition advice from who?”

The other panelists were stunned. “You did not,” said co-anchor Harris Faulkner. “Oh, my goodness gracious.”

But Dr. Ablow kept going. “I want nutrition,” he continued, “but let’s be honest, there’s no french fries happening? It’s all kale and carrots? I don’t buy it. Just saying.”

Former MTV personality and current Fox News co-anchor Kennedy seemed to appreciate Obama’s figure. “I like her booty,” she said.

Dr. Ablow seemed disappointed no one else would take the bait. “Join me in my criticism,” he said.

Co-host Sandra Smith would not. “Fitness of the First Lady aside, her presentation aside, I have no comments on that.”
