‘Generation Q’ Falls in Love and Makes Bad Choices in New Trailer for ‘The L Word’ Sequel Series (Video)

Showtime series debuts Dec. 8

Showtime has released a new trailer for “The L Word: Generation Q,” its follow-up to the groundbreaking series starring Jennifer Beals.

The new, 2019 version of “The L Word”returns to the lives of Bette Porter (Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey) and Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig), and adds a diverse new generation of queer Angelenos to the mix, including Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi), as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A.

The eight-episode series is set to debut on Showtime on Sunday, Dec. 8.

“The L Word: Generation Q” is executive produced by showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan (“The Four-Faced Liar,” “6 Balloons)”, along with series creator Ilene Chaiken, Kristen Campo, Steph Green (pilot) and original series stars Beals, Moennig and Hailey.
