George Lucas’ ‘Red Tails’ Trailer Offers History Lessons, Cool Plane Fights (Video)

The “Star Wars” honcho’s World War II effort flies into theaters in January ; get a sneak peek here

George Lucas is once again focusing on epic battles in the sky, but this time they’re a little less out-of-this-world than in his previous efforts.

The trailer for Lucas’ film “Red Tails,” about the real-life Tuskegee Airmen – the first African-American combat pilots in World War II – will hit the big screen next year, but befre then a trailer has been released to give the world an idea of what Lucas has planned for them.

The movie, which stars Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Bryan Cranston, was co-written and executive-produced by the “Star Wars” honcho.
