A new teaser for “The X-Files” was released during the halftime of Super Bowl 50 on Sunday gave a first look at the opening scene of the Fox reboot’s final episode.
And boy, was it a doozy — hinting at alien DNA in Gillian Anderson‘s FBI special agent Dana Scully that gave her a seriously otherworldly appearance.
Anderson narrates the two-and-a-half minute opening scene from the reboot’s season finale, set to air on Feb. 22, and recounting her long history with the bureau, her investigation with partner Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) of the paranormal and a cabal of human conspirators.
