Global Road’s head of publicity Liz Biber is exiting the company, an individual with knowledge told TheWrap.

The move comes after founding CEO Tom Ortenberg left the company in December.

Tang Media Partners Entertainment, the arm of former Bear Stearns exec Donald Tang’s media conglomerate that includes production and distribution companies IM Global and Open Road Films, rebranded as Global Road Entertainment at the end of last year, and named Rob Friedman as its chairman and CEO.

Open Road Films was co-founded by AMC Theatres and Regal Entertainment in 2011. Biber had been the PR head of Open Road since it was founded. In that time, she handled campaigns for films like “Spotlight,” which won the Best Picture Oscar in 2016, as well as “Chef,” “Nightcrawler,” “End of Watch” and “The Nut Job.”

Prior to her stint at Open Road, she served as the EVP at Dimension Films and The Weinstein Company, and also worked at Sony’s Columbia Pictures.

A replacement for Biber has not yet been announced.
