Netflix has renewed the wrestling comedy “GLOW” for a second season, the streamer announced on Thursday.

The Alison Brie-led series, inspired by the syndicated ’80s female wrestling show The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, has been picked up for a 10-episode second season.

Inspired by the real story of the 1980s female wrestling league,”GLOW” — set in Los Angeles and showcasing big hair and body slams — is the fictionalized story of an out-of-work actress (Brie) who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers.

Co-created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch and executive produced by “Orange Is the New Black” creator Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann, the series also stars Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron, Kate Nash, Jackie Tohn and Kia Steven.
