‘Go On’s’ Laura Benanti to Join ABC’s ‘Nashville’ in Recurring Guest Role

The Tony-winner will appear in a multiple-episode arc on the show’s upcoming third season

There’s new talent in “Nashville.”

Laura Benanti has been cast in a multiple episode arc on the ABC drama’s upcoming third season, a show representative told TheWrap.

Benanti will play Sadie Stone, an up-and-coming country star who befriends Rayna (Connie Britton).

The actress previously starred on NBC’s “Go On,” “The Playboy Club” and the live “Gone With Music.” She has appeared on Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie,” NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU,” USA Network’s “Royal Pains,” and CBS’S “The Good Wife.”

She’s also a Tony Award winner for Broadway’s “Gypsy.”

CAA and Brookside Artist Management represent Benanti.
