The Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Friday announced the timetable for the 79th Golden Globe Awards, without a telecast plan.
Below are the major dates, with key ones bolded:
Oct. 18: Submission website for 2022 Golden Globe Motion Picture and Television entries now open
Nov. 15: Deadline for submission of Golden Globe Motion Picture and Television entry forms
Nov. 22: Deadline for Television nomination ballots to be sent to all HFPA members by Ernst & Young
Nov. 29: Deadline for receipt of Television nomination ballots by Ernst & Young, at 5 p.m. PT
Nov. 30: Deadline for Motion Picture nomination ballots to be sent to all HFPA members by Ernst & Young
Dec. 8: Final screening date for Motion Pictures
Dec. 9: Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
Dec. 10: Deadline for receipt of Motion Picture nomination ballots by Ernst & Young, at noon
Dec. 13: Announcement of nominations for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards, at 5 p.m.
Dec. 17: Final ballots sent to all HFPA members by Ernst & Young
Jan. 3: Deadline for receipt of final ballots by Ernst & Young, at 5 p.m.
Jan. 9: Presentation of the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Note, the Jan. 9 date puts the Globes on the same day as the Critics Choice Awards, which had moved in and claimed that day months ago.
No NBC telecast is planned for next year after a damaging admission by the HFPA earlier this year that they had no Black members. The HFPA has since made efforts to diversify its membership.
