Lucasfilm released the official synopsis for “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” the Han Solo spinoff movie and origin story coming out this summer, and it confirms that not only will his trusty sidekick Chewbacca be in the film, it will tell the story of how the two met.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Alden Ehrenreich stars as Han and Donald Glover plays Lando in the film directed by Ron Howard. Howard has been teasing plot threads from the film for quite some time, including hints that the Empire and the Death Star still loom large in this story, as well as how Han flew the Falcon in the Kessel Run.

“The Last Jedi” also provided a tease for a pair of gold dice hanging in the Falcon that were significant to Han, and the synopsis suggests that in Han’s meeting with Lando, we’ll likely get a scene of how Han won those dice and the Falcon from Lando in the first place.

“Solo” opens on May 25.
