‘House Hunters’ Host Suzanne Whang Joins ‘About a Boy’ Pilot

Actress announces role on Twitter

Comedian and former "House Hunters" host Suzanne Whang says she has a new home: NBC's "About a Boy" pilot.

Whang, who also appeared on NBC's "Las Vegas," said on Twitter that she has landed a co-starring role on the pilot. NBC declined to comment on any casting decisions.

"Cockwaffles! I just booked a co-star role on 'About a Boy,' a pilot co-produced by Robert DeNiro and directed by Jon Favreau! Woo hoo!!" Whang tweeted.

Whang is best known for guiding homebuyers to their dream domeciles on HGN's "House Hunters," but also has a surprisingly ribald standup act.

And no, we don't know what cockwaffles are, either.

The pilot, written by Jason Katims, stars David Walton and Minnie Driver. Like the Hugh Grant film of the same name, it is based on a Nick Hornby novel.
