“Swarm,” Donald Glover’s latest series takes a sting at Bey stans, as it’s inspired by the extremely dedicated fan base of the 32-time Grammy award-winning music artist Beyoncé Knowles.

They’re called the BeyHive, and one thing they don’t play about is their Queen Bey. The group has created such a buzz that it only seems right that a show or film was eventually made about them. So Janine Nabers and Donald Glover — “Swarm’s” co-creators — did just that.

The series, which drops on Amazon Prime Video on March 17, tells the story of Dre (Dominique Fishback), a disturbed and way-too obsessed Houston-based fan who goes to violent levels all in the honor of her favorite R&B singer.

The limited seven-part series stars Fishback, Chloe Bailey, Nirine S. Brown, Karen Rodriguez, Heather Simms, Kiersey Clemons, Damson Idris, Leon, Paris Jackson, Byron, Stephen Glover and more.

This is Glover’s most recent recent project as part of his overall deal with Amazon Studios, and it made its debut premiere at SXSW on March 10. Here’s everything you need to know about “Swarm.”
