Indiegogo announced the integration of the single-touch Apple Pay into its crowdfunding site.

The site that allows filmmakers to crowdsource financing is the only online funding platform selected to join the launch of the mobile payment technology. The site will phase in Apple Pay over the next few weeks, with the most prominent campaigns becoming the first to provide funders with access to the new system.

Indiegogo, the world’s largest crowdfunding platform, recently introduced an iPhone app to allow funders to discover and support campaigns on-the-go and mobile management tools for campaign owners. All Indiegogo campaigns will continue to accept credit cards, debit cards and ACH payments drawn directly from funders’ bank accounts.

“Apple Pay is the latest product improvement we are introducing that will help Indiegogo achieve our core mission of democratizing access to funding by making it as simple as possible for people to fund the ideas they care about,” said Slava Rubin, CEO of Indiegogo.

Apple Pay provides its security through Apple’s ‎Touch ID system that encrypts and remotely stores credit card data. Apple Pay is available in the US on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices.
