James Franco Travels Through Time in ‘11.22.63’ Trailer (Video)

Hulu series premieres Presidents’ Day, Feb. 15

Hulu unveiled the first full-length trailer for “11.22.63” on Saturday, giving an extended look at James Franco‘s journey into the past to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Franco plays Jake Epping, a high school teacher who is given the opportunity to go back in time to 1960, three years before President John F. Kennedy is assassinated.

But as seen in the trailer, the past doesn’t want to be changed, and it will go out of its way to stop his efforts.

The series also stars Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, Sarah Gadon, Lucy Fry, George MacKay and Daniel Webber.

The series, based on the 2011 bestselling novel, hails from J.J. Abrams‘ Bad Robot Productions, King, Warner Bros. Television and Bridget Carpenter (“The Red Road,” “Friday Night Lights”), who will write and executive produce the series.

“11/22/63” will premiere on Hulu on President’s Day, Feb. 15, 2016.
