“Expendables” star Jason Statham will be back in theaters when Lionsgate releases “Wild Card” in theaters and on VOD on Jan. 30, 2015.
The R-rated action thriller from “Con Air” director Simon West follows Statham as a Las Vegas bodyguard with a gambling problem who beats up a thug for a friend, only to learn the man is the son of a powerful mob boss.

You can probably imagine what happens next: Mob boss sends enforcers after Statham, and Statham roundhouse kicks them all in the face for 92 minutes.
“Wild Card” is based on a novel called “HEAT” by Academy Award-winning screenwriter William Goldman, who also wrote the screenplay.
Michael Angarano, Milo Ventimiglia and Dominik García-Lorido, Anne Heche, Sofia Vergara, Jason Alexander, Hope Davis and Stanley Tucci co-star.
