CBS has cast “Bad Moms” and “Suicide Squad” actor Jay Hernandez as the star of its “Magnum P.I.” pilot.

Hernandez will play the role originated by Tom Selleck, starring as Thomas Magnum, a decorated ex-Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator.
