For days, speculation has been rampant over why Jeb Bush delayed filing his donation totals for the year’s third quarter, with some suggesting it may have been because the former Florida governor wasn’t doing well in the fundraising department amid sliding poll numbers.

Well, Bush’s campaign finally released its numbers and, as it turns out, the presidential candidate raised $13.4 million, outpacing both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz — but falling far short of Ben Carson’s $20 million.

According to preliminary data, Bush, who raised a whopping $114 million in the first six months of this year (including donations to his Super PAC), has $10.3 million in cash on hand.

By comparison, Hillary Clinton raised $28 million in the last quarter while Bernie Sanders raised close to $26 million.

Full financial disclosure reports are due at the end of Thursday.
