Emmy-winning actor Jharrel Jerome has joined the cast of the HBO Max limited series “Full Circle” from Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon.

Jerome joins previously announced cast members including Dennis Quaid, Zazie Beetz, Timothy Olyphant and Claire Danes.

“Full Circle” follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.

So far, the streamer hasn’t released any details about the characters, though there has been some speculation.

For his part, Jerome is thought to be playing a member of a New York criminal organization, according to Deadline. The outlet also reported that Danes is believed to be playing a Manhattan attorney, while Beetz is said to be playing a U.S. Postal Inspection Service agent.

Soderbergh will direct all six episodes and executive produce alongside Solomon and Casey Silver, who previously collaborated on the HBO Max film “No Sudden Move” and the HBO branched narrative “Mosaic.”

Jerome led Ava DuVernay’s Netflix limited series about the Exonerated Five, “When They See Us.” He played Korey Wise, a role that earned him the 2019 Emmy for Lead Actor in a Limited Series. Prior to that, he also was part of the ensemble cast in Barry Jenkins’ Oscar-winner “Moonlight.”

Jerome is repped by Kipperman Management, UTA, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
