World, meet new celebrity power couple #Jaidy. Oh, you hate them? Sorry.
Jim Carrey and “SNL” star Aidy Bryant are the type of comic actors that will do anything for attention, even if that means using this week’s “Saturday Night Live” promos to create a fake Hollywood relationship, complete with an obnoxious nickname and hashtag — which in their case, is #Jaidy.
So maybe the results weren’t well-received and the hashtag didn’t trend, but it made for a pretty funny (if awkward) commercial for the upcoming episode.

First though, in the below “SNL” promos, Carrey turned a creepy-scary moment into a creepy-creepy moment in honor of the Halloween show. Later in the video, he performs the least-flattering impression of Bryant that anyone has ever done … of anyone.
Eventually both actors get possessed, and it burns. It really burns.
Iggy Azalea is Carrey’s musical guest on Friday, which will be the first episode with writer-turned-cast-member Leslie Jones. Watch the “SNL” promos:
