Jim Carrey, Oliver Stone Sign With Leo DiCaprio Manager Rick Yorn (Exclusive)

Carrey left his previous his previous managers in October

Jim Carrey and Oliver Stone have signed with Rick Yorn’s LBI Entertainment, according to several individuals with knowledge of their plans. Carrey is already represented by WME while Stone is at CAA.

Yorn represents an impressive list of movie stars, including Jonah Hill, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and Leonardo DiCaprio. The strength of his client list stands out in particular because it is such a small firm. To remedy that, Yorn has hired Thor Bradwell and Chris Donnelly from WME, bringing on rising stars like Diana Agron, as well as Martin Scorsese. He also hired former independent agent Ilene Feldman.

Carrey, who left previous managers Jimmy Miller and Eric Gold at Mosaic in October, only makes that list stronger. Carrey spent more than a decade as one of the most popular and successful comedians in the world. The star of “Dumb & Dumber” and “Ace Ventura” has since delivered strong dramatic turns in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “I Love You, Phillip Morris” while also appearing in comedies such as “Yes Man” and “The Incredible Burt Wunderstone.” He just reprised his role as Lloyd in a sequel to “Dumb and Dumber,” which opens in November.

Stone, the writer and director of “Platoon” and “Natural Born Killers,” last made “Savages,” a crime drama based on Don Winslow’s book. He recently signed on to make a movie about Martin Luther King Jr. with Jamie Foxx attached to star, but he has run into problems with his script.

This story was updated Jan. 25 after Stone’s representatives confirmed the signing.
