Jon Stewart to Jerry Sandusky: ‘Horseplay? Are You F—ing Kidding Us?’

Stewart rips into Penn State assistant coach’s defense

Jon Stewart ripped into Jerry Sandusky's claim that what happened between him and a child in a locker room shower in 2002 amounted to mere "horseplay."

"Horseplay? Are you fucking kidding us?" Stewart asked on Tuesday night's "Daily Show." "Horseplay is wrestling your friend out of a pillow fort, throwing your nephew into the pool — various other things that would be never mistaken for rape."

Sandusky, the former Penn State assistant coach, spoke by phone with Bob Costas on Monday night's "Rock Center with Brian Williams." A graduate assistant claims he saw Sandusky raping a boy he estimated to be 10 years old in a shower in the Penn State athletic facilities in March 2002.

Sandusky admitted to showering with the boy, but said all that took place between them was "horseplay."

Stewart noted that Sandusky didn't respond with an immediate "no," when Costas asked if he was sexually attracted to young boys, but instead repeated the question.

"Everyone knows the only time you repeat a question is when you're guilty," Stewart said. "I've lied before, so I know what you do before you lie."
