Seth Meyers is known to occasionally get his guests fully hammered, thanks to his recurring “Day Drinking” bit. Apparently, a recent episode resulted in the NBC host getting tackled to the ground by Kevin Hart — though neither man actually remembers it.

Stopping by “Late Night” on Thursday, the stand-up comedian admitted that both he and Meyers “got a reality check” when they went day drinking after walking into the bar with perhaps too much confidence. According to Meyers, Hart called him the next morning and “yelled at me like I had tried to kill you.”

Hart conceded to that, and admitted that he only remembers two moments from the bit, one of which being lying on the ground on Meyers’ chest, with no knowledge of how he got there.

The late night host then revealed that the bit was originally supposed to include the two of them playing “Drinking Jumanji,” with the floor of the bar designed as a giant Jumanji board.

“We had a dice and, according to my staff — by the way, no memory of this — I rolled the dice, and then you just tackled me, and that was the end of the game” Meyers said.

So, that explains how Hart wound up on Meyers on the floor, which they did have an image of. But Hart didn’t remember that part either.

“They also told me that when Seth rolled the dice, they said full speed I came and kicked the dice and said ‘F–k this s–t!’” Hart added with a laugh. “For no reason, by the way! Like, there’s no reason for the anger. And then I just tackled him.”

“They said I tackled him, and then, after immediately tackling him, gave him a hug and just laid on him,” he continued.
