Ahead of Labor Day weekend, TheWrap is rounding up some of the past week’s news in a special edition of Wrap Trends.
Perhaps the week’s biggest news was the successful overturning of Tom Brady‘s NFL suspension on Thursday. U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman nullified the league’s four-game suspension of the Patriots quarterback, allowing him to start in week one of the football season.
Joe Biden spent his week mulling a potential 2016 presidential bid. The Vice President has been meeting with top donors and powerful Democratic politicians. In response to the increased buzz, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump previously said that Biden “would be fun to run against.”
Also of note this week was Charlie Sheen‘s 50th birthday, meaning the former “Two and a Half Men” star isn’t dead yet.
