Typically, finding out that your husband had visited a brothel would be grounds for divorce, not grounds for calling off a divorce. But where Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian are concerned, apparently the normal rules don’t apply.

The pending divorce between “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kardashian and her estranged husband — who was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada last week — was put on hold Wednesday, according to court papers obtained by TheWrap. The couple’s request for dismissal of their divorce proceedings was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Odom and Kardashian were married in 2009 and signed divorce papers in July, after Kardashian’s December 2013 filing. However, the divorce was never finalized.

Odom is currently receiving medical care in Los Angeles after he was released from Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and transported to California on Monday.

He was rushed to the hospital on Oct. 13 after checking into the Love Ranch for a five-day spree that brothel owner Dennis Hof said he had shelled out $75,000 for. According to 911 calls placed by brothel employees, Odom admitted to using cocaine prior to his Oct. 9 arrival at the brothel, and had consumed “up to 10” herbal sexual enhancement supplements.

In a statement issued Tuesday, Odom’s family said that the former Los Angeles Laker  has made “miraculous progress” and is “taking a few steps.”
