Larry King to Host Gulf Oil Spill Benefit

CNN plans celebrity-filled Monday telethon

Larry King – whose future at CNN is the subject of much speculation at the moment – will host a live telethon for the Gulf on Monday night during a two-hour version of his show.

“DISASTER IN THE GULF: How You Can Help” will benefit the United Way, National Wildlife Federation and the Nature Conservancy for their work on the Gulf oil spill.

King is leaning a lineup of stars to help, including: Justin Bieber, Ted Danson, Cameron Diaz, Kathy Griffin, Chelsea Handler, Randy Jackson, Kerry Kennedy, Lenny Kravitz, Jenny McCarthy, Tim McGraw, Alyssa Milano, Edward James Olmos, Victoria Principal, Robert Redford, Ian Somerhalder, Sting, Melania and Ivanka Trump, Pete Wentz.

Ryan Seacrest will host an “online Social Suite.”  Anderson Cooper, Soledad O’Brien, Kyra Phillips and Rob Marciano will file reports during the special.
