Larry King to Guest-Host ESPN2’s ‘Olbermann’ Next Week

Keith Olbermann is taking some early vacation for the MLB postseason

Let’s hope suspenders are not a violation of ESPN’s dress code.

Larry King will guest host ESPN2’s late night show “Olbermann” from Oct. 1-3, while the one man with two “N”‘s takes an early leave to host the MLB postseason studio show on TBS.

To warm up for the gig, King will make a guest appearance on “Olbermann” Friday.

“Sports have always been my avocation – they’re part of my being,” King said. “Having the chance to come back to my hometown of New York and host Keith’s show for several days is a terrific joy for me and a return to my first love.”

King will not be the only substitute in the coming weeks. Following him, Jeremy Schaap will guest host the program on Oct. 8-10, followed by Colin Cowherd who will guest host from Oct. 15-17. Olbermann will leave the show on Sep. 30 and return on Oct. 21.

“Olbermann” airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on ESPN2.
