‘Letterman’ Books Nancy Pelosi for Election Day Top Ten

Nancy Pelosi has won the vote … to present Letterman’s Top Ten list on Tuesday night.

House Democratic Leader Pelosi has been tapped to read the Top Ten segment on “Late Show With David Letterman” on Nov. 5, the day of the general elections.

Pelosi was most recently on the CBS late-night offering in August 2006, prior to the elections that made her the first female Speaker of the House.

The California congresswoman will be joined on the show by guests Kathy Griffin and Bruce McCall, who co-authored the book  “This Land Was Made for You and Me (But Mostly Me):  Billionaires in the Wild,” which goes on sale Tuesday.

“Work Out” rapper J. Cole will serve as Tuesday night’s musical guest.
