"Liz & Dick" was intended as a comeback vehicle for the "Mean Girls" actress, but the film was panned by critics and ridiculed by viewers on Twitter.

It earned 3.5 million viewers Sunday, a decent number. It was Lifetime's fourth most-watched original movie premiere this year.

Lohan has also faced recent financial issues. On Monday, a spokesman for Charlie Sheen confirmed to TheWrap that the actor had given Lohan $100,000 to pay her taxes.
