Based on the novel of the same name, “Long Bright River” features Amanda Seyfried in an all-new on-screen uniform for the Emmy-winning actress.
Seyfried stars as Mickey Fitzpatrick, a Philly beat cop dedicated to solving the mysterious murders targeting young women on the Avenue, many of whom struggle with addiction and turn to sex work to survive. While other men on the force are quick to categorize them as overdoses, Mickey sees something they do not.
The eight-episode limited series attempts to solve both a murder mystery and a family one. As Mickey pieces together evidence to solve the murder mystery, she unveils memories from her own past.
Seyfried stars in the series alongside Nicholas Pinnock, John Doman and Dash Mihok. For a full breakdown on all of the cast of the Peacock series, keep reading.
All episodes of “Long Bright River” are available to stream on Peacock.

Amanda Seyfried as Mickey Fitzpatrick
Mickey grew up in Kensington, going to school just a few blocks from the Avenue, which she now patrols. She encounters young women on the streets, administering Narcan and listening to their stories. Mickey doesn’t patrol like other cops and that can get her into trouble.
Seyfried won an Emmy Award for her performance in “The Dropout.” She is also known for her roles in “Mean Girls,” “Jennifer’s Body,” “Les Miserables” and “Mamma Mia.”

Nicholas Pinnock as Truman Dawes
Mickey’s former patrol partner Truman Dawes still has a soft spot for the officer. When Mickey does not trust her current partner to take the murder case seriously, she turns to Truman to help her solve the mystery after hours.
Pinnock is best known for his role as Aaron Wallace in “For Life.” The British actor has also appeared in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Book of Clarence” and “Marcella.”

Callum Vinson as Thomas Fitzpatrick
Newcomer Vinson plays Mickey’s son, Thomas. He’s ambitious, friendly and sometimes gets tired of his mom trying to teach him all the time. Vinson has previously appeared in the “Chucky” TV series and “The Night Agent.”

Ashleigh Cummings as Kacey
Kacey is Mickey’s younger sister, whom she has not seen in a while. She struggles with addiction and Mickey fears that she could be next in the train of murders targeting girls on the Avenue.
Cummings previously appeared in “The Goldfinch,” “Hounds of Love” and “NOS4A2.”

John Doman as Gee
The Philly born and raised actor plays Gee, Mickey’s grandfather, who raised her after her mother died. Gee also serves as a father figure to Mickey’s son Thomas because his father is out of the picture.
Doman is best known for playing Bill Rawls on HBO series “The Wire,” Dr. Deraad in ER, “Borgia” and “The Affair”

Dash Mihok as Lafferty
Lafferty is Mickey’s new partner on the force. When the murders start to take over the area, she splits from her partner to sleuth around on her own.
Mihok is best known for his role as Bunchy Donovan in “Ray Donovan” and Benvolio in the 1996 “Romeo + Juliet.”

Matthew Del Negro as Simon Cleare
Simon was a prominent figure in Mickey and Kacey’s upbringing. The sisters attended a youth police academy after-school program, where they met the then-officer.
Negro has previously appeared in “City on a Hill,” “Scandal,” “The Sopranos” and “The West Wing.”

Joe Daru as Detective Danjarat
When Mickey believes that the police officers on the force are not taking the trail of murders seriously, she turns to Detective Danjarat. She starts to report her off-duty sleuthing to his investigative team.
Daru has appeared as a guest star on “East New York,” “S.W.A.T” and “Chicago Fire.”
