The fans, cast and creator of “Lucifer” have taken to social media to celebrate the success of the #SaveLucifer campaign to have the show resurrected after its cancellation by Fox.

“Thank you thank you THANK YOU to all the #Lucifer fans,” creator Joe Henderson wrote on Twitter. “You brought us back. YOU did this. So relax, take a breath, put some ice on those fingers that have been hashtagging up a storm… and get ready for more deviltime.”

“#LuciferSeason4 on @Netflix wow that sounds nice,” added series star Tom Ellis. “You fans made this happen.”

Netflix announced on Friday that it had officially given the green light to a fourth season of the Warner Bros. Television-produced series, just over a month after the show was axed by Fox. No details about the new season, including premiere date or episode count, were announced.

The news was also met with an outpouring from the “Lucifer” fanbase, which passionately rallied behind the show after it was canceled, hoping to find it a new home. See a sampling of the reaction below.
