‘Mean Girls’ Star Jonathan Bennett Reflects on 10-Year Anniversary, Lindsay Lohan Puking on Him (Video)

The host of MTV’s “Copycat” says he never expected the movie to be such a pop culture phenomenon in the latest episode of TheWrap’s “Drinking with the Stars”

“Mean Girls” star Jonathan Bennet may be hosting MTV’s new singing competition “Copycat,” but he’ll never escape his “Mean Girls” past as Lindsay Lohan‘s love interest, Aaron Samuels.

And since the movie’s 10-year anniversary was last month, we couldn’t resist bringing up the 2004 high school comedy during the latest “Drinking with the Stars.”

“It’s weird to be involved in something that was such a pop culture phenomenon,” Bennett said. “When we were shooting it we didn’t realize it was going to be this big thing. And it became this quotable, wonderful, pop culture, go-to cult film.”

When asked for his favorite memory from the production, Bennet said it was actually Lohan puking on him.

“She was only 16 when we shot the movie,” Bennett said. “She was just a kid.”
