Megyn Kelly Rips Donna Brazile: ‘Can You Imagine If This Were a Republican?’ (Video)

Fox News host calls out former CNN contributor who leaked debate questions

Megyn Kelly went after DNC chair Donna Brazile on Monday night after another batch of leaked emails appear to show the former CNN contributor providing the Clinton campaign with debate and town hall questions in advance.

“Can you imagine if this were a Republican had been fed a question by Fox News,” Kelly asked. “You know, the different reaction we’d be seeing in the media?”

Kelly mentioned that she defended Brazile and CNN when the story first broke but said, “The facts appear to be proving my initial defense of them wrong.”

Brazile sent town hall and debate questions to the Clinton campaign prior to CNN events during the Democratic primary race against Bernie Sanders. Kelly said it “undermines the integrity of the whole system.”

Kelly pondered what other cheating has occurred and mentioned that Donald Trump has been calling it a “rigged” election for quite some time.

CNN cut ties with Brazile earlier this month but kept it quiet until news of the latest WikiLeaks scandal broke on Monday.

A network spokesperson issued the following statement: “On October 14th, CNN accepted Donna Brazile’s resignation as a CNN contributor. (Her deal had previously been suspended in July when she became the interim head of the DNC.) CNN never gave Brazile access to any questions, prep material, attendee list, background information or meetings in advance of a town hall or debate. We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.”

Back on Oct. 19, Brazile and Kelly got into a heated argument when “The Kelly File” host asked Brazile about the emails.

“As a Christian woman, I understand persecution. But I will not sit here and be persecuted because your information is totally false,” Brazile said while refusing to answer Kelly’s question.

The Democratic National Committee was hacked in July and Wikileaks published thousands of damaging emails that exposed the committee’s bias toward Clinton over Sanders. The leaked emails led to the resignation of DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was accused of conspiring with party officials to thwart Sanders’ campaign.

Brazile is serving as the DNC chair in Wasserman Schultz’s absence.
