Folks on Twitter are pointing our the irony once again of Melania Trump’s anti-bullying stance, considering her husband and President of the United States is a well-known bully himself.
The First Lady addressed the United Nations at a luncheon Wednesday, using her platform to espouse her dedication to ending bullying.
“No child should ever feel hungry, stalked, frightened, terrorized, bullied, isolated or afraid, with nowhere to turn,” Melania said. “We need to step up, come together, and ensure that our children’s future is bright.”
Mrs. Trump announced in November that her focus as First Lady will be to launch an anti-bullying initiative, though plans for such a program are still unclear. She defended Trump’s June Twitter attack on “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski, despite previously saying that social media bullying is “absolutely unacceptable” in America.

Now, Twitter is turning up the heat against FLOTUS, finding her speech incredibly ironic.
“Melania Trump talking about cyber bullying when her husband is the absolute worst offender is just Twilight Zone worthy,” one Twitter user said. “Disturbing family.”
“Melania Trump to condemn bullying at U.N. luncheon, 24 hours after her husband bullied planet earth,” another quipped.
Another juxtaposed a quote from Mrs. Trump saying to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” with a GIF of her husband mocking a disabled reporter.

Melania Trump talking about cyber bullying makes as much sense as it would to have Ted Cruz's wife talk about healthy masturbation habits.
