Mike Huckabee’s CNN Debate Conspiracy Theory: I Kicked Their ‘Rear Ends’ at Fox, So They Blew Me Off (Video)

“For six-and-a-half years I was on the Fox network beating their rear ends…maybe this was their way of getting back” former Arkansas governor says

Mike Huckabee isn’t happy with the lack of questions he received at the CNN GOP debate and proposed one heck of a conspiracy theory for why he was dissed by the moderators.

“Maybe a conspiracy theorist here,” Huckabee told Bill O’Reilly on Thursday, suggesting that CNN ignored him because “for six-and-a-half years I was on the Fox network beating their rear ends… maybe this was their way of getting back.”

As TheWrap previously reported during our debate live blog, Huckabee was the last candidate to receive a first question during the debate — about 25 minutes in. By his count, he got three questions and two more as a result of forcing his way into the conversation.

“I’ve been stuck in L.A. traffic and wasted less time time than standing on that stage for three hours last night… it was very frustrating, and I think the viewers of America were cheated,” he said.

Huckabee wasn’t the only candidate out of 11 on stage who got little oxygen from the moderators: Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Scott Walker and John Kasich were among the GOP contenders who didn’t receive many questions.
