Mischa Barton has joined the cast of MTV’s “The Hills” reboot, the network announced on Wednesday.

The “O.C.” star joins original cast members Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Frankie Delgado, Heidi Pratt, Jason Wahler, Justin “Bobby” Brescia, Spencer Pratt, Stephanie Pratt and Whitney Port for the new series, titled “The Hills: New Beginnings.”

Other newcomers confirmed for the series include Jenner, Delgado and Wahler’s wives, Kaitlynn Carter, Jennifer Delgado and Ashley Wahler, respectively.

Original stars Lauren “L.C.” Conrad and Kristen Cavallari are not expected to take part in the new series, with Cavallari the subject of her own E! reality series “Very Cavallari.”

“The Hills: New Beginnings” is slated to premiere in 2019. It is produced by MTV and Evolution Media.

A spinoff of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” following Conrad’s move to Los Angeles, “The Hills” completed its original run in 2010. In its fourth season it birthed its own spinoff “The City,” which was led by Port and ran for two seasons.
