Janice Min is continuing to make her mark at The Hollywood Reporter.
The former Us Weekly editor is bringing on board three more staffers from the celebutainment magazine, TheWrap has confirmed.
Us Weekly design director Shanti Marlar will be THR's new creative director. Senior online editor Lindsay Powers will be deputy web editor, based in New York. Lauren Schutte will be a staff writer, in L.A.
The moves come amid widespread speculation that the Hollywood trade will soon be shifting gears to a more consumer-centric focus. Min was hired shortly after THR was acquired by e5 Global Media and a new senior management team with deep experience in consumer and celebrity magazines was installed.
A call to a Hollywood Reporter spokesperson seeking comment was not immediately returned.
