“The Muppets” come face-to-face with this year’s Emmy nominees in a new promo video for the awards show.
The clip kicks off with Kermit and Miss Piggy of ABC’s upcoming “The Muppets” reuniting after the highly publicized “break-up” that serves as the premise for their mockumentary series.
Several Emmy nominees make cameo appearances in the promo, including “How to Get Away With Murder” star Viola Davis and “Modern Family’s” Julie Bowen.
Joel McHale, nominated for “The Soup,” also appears at the end of the clip to promote Audi, an Emmy sponsor.
The 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
