NBC to Announce Schedule a Day Early

Conference call will come a day before upfronts presentation

Peacock watchers, clear your Sunday: NBC will announce its upfront slate a day ahead of its presentation to advertisers.

Though the network still plans the unveiling to advertisers on Monday morning, it will give reporters an advance look at the schedule in a conference call with new entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt on Sunday. It also gave reporters an early look at the schedule last year.

The upfronts presentation is a crucial one for the fourth-place network. It will be Greenblatt's first, and many see him as a potential saviour for the network's struggling primetime, given his success as Showtime's entertainment president.

NBC has been especially secretive about the new lineup, and moving up the unveiling may help it curtail the kinds of leaks that are inevitable this time of year.

The call begins at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT, and TheWrap will report immediately on all developments from the call in real time. Hope to see you then.
