NBC has re-teamed with “Midnight, Texas” producer David Janollari and author Charlaine Harris on a new pilot, TheWrap has learned.

Janollari executive produce the pilot “Redliners,” based on Harris’ series of short stories. Comic book author Kelly Sue DeConnick and “Emerald City’s” Shaun Cassidy will co-write and executive produce.

The drama, which hails from Universal Television, centers on a pair of former operatives who get reactivated and drawn into a larger conspiracy while attempting to maintain their undercover lives.

The network has previously ordered five drama pilots, including Jason Katims’ “Drama High,” an untitled medical drama from writer Warren Leight, the military drama “For God and Country,” Jenna Bans’ suburban crime drama “Good Girls” and virtual reality detective thriller “Reverie” from “Extant” creator Mickey Fisher.

On the comedy side, the network has a pilot based on the early life of Kourtney Kang, a series about a cynical Ivy League professor who becomes a high school teacher from Seth Meyers and Lorne Michaels, and “The Sacket Sisters,” produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
