Nick Cassavetes to Direct Action Thriller ‘Expiration’

Brian Tucker is writing the screenplay, and filming is expected to begin in February 2015

Nick Cassavetes is set to direct action thriller “Expiration” for Corsan Films, Corsan CEO Paul Breuls announced on Monday. Randall Emmett and George Furla will co-produce for their Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films.

“Expiration” tells the story of an ex-CIA operative turned assassin who fails his assignment after being poisoned. With only 20 hours left to live, he sets out to discover who poisoned him in an effort to settle the score before he dies.

Brian Tucker wrote the screenplay and filming is expected to begin February 2015 in Europe.

Cassavetes is best known for directing “The Notebook,” “My Sister’s Keeper” and “The Other Woman.” He is repped by Resolution.
