NRA Spokeswoman Defends Gun Silencers in Response to Hillary Clinton’s Tweet About Las Vegas Shooting

“Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get,” Clinton tweets

NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch responded to Hillary Clinton’s tweet regarding Sunday’s deadly massacre in Las Vegas to defend the use of gun silencers.

“The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get,” Clinton tweeted on Monday.

“Suppressors only reduce by a few decibels, still same decibel level as a jackhammer,” Loesch responded from her personal account.

Loesch has been active on her personal account, though the official NRA Twitter account remains silent on the attack.

Clinton also pointed out the need to “stand up to the NRA” to prevent shootings in the United States.

“Our grief isn’t enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again,” she tweeted.
