‘Designated Survivor,’ ‘Once Upon a Time’ Among 4 ABC Renewals

Network also picked up “American Housewife” and “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD”

ABC has renewed four shows, including Kiefer Sutherland’s freshman standout “Designated Survivor” and venerable drama “Once Upon a Time.”

The Katy Mixon sitcom “American Housewife” was picked up for a second season, while “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” landed a fifth season.

“OUAT” will return for Season 7 despite Jennifer Morrison exiting at the end of the current run.

There was a flurry of ABC renewals today, including pickups for “black-ish” and “The Goldbergs,” the latter of which landed two more seasons.

Among the shows getting the ax by the network were “The Real O’Neals” and “The Catch.”
