“Our Little Family” is coming back in September.

TLC has officially started production on Season 2 of the reality series, TheWrap has learned. The cable channel ordered eight hour-long episodes and a one-hour special with the family answering behind-the-scenes questions. The series will return in the fall.

The show follows Dan and Michelle Hamill as they raise their three children, Jack, Cece and Cate. All five family members have achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, but Michelle and Dan are committed to making sure their kids feel confident in their own skin.

Last year, viewers got an inside look into the Hamills’ lives from potty training and soccer games to special anniversaries and holiday celebrations. They celebrated the twins’ third birthday, and they also dressed up for the first time as a family for Halloween, setting up new traditions for the kids.

On the new season, Dan and Michelle will share more of their life at home as children are getting older.

Season 1 of “Our Little Family” attracted 1.7 million total viewers per episode, according to Nielsen. It was also a Top 5 cable program in its time period with women, TLC stated.

“Our Little Family” is produced by Discovery Studios for TLC.
