Police Called to Remove Fired Actor/Director Pruitt Taylor Vince From Set

The producer of “Cameraman” says creative feud with Emmy-winning actor/director went awry.

Police were called upon to remove director/star Pruitt Taylor Vince from a film set in Louisiana after a creative feud with producer David Newton Cole, TMZ reported.

Vince was fired in front of the crew for the movie "Cameraman" when things got ugly and authorities were summoned to remove him, the website said.

"Neither of us would compromise his artistic vision, and I am the producer so that is that," Cole told TMZ. "That’s why they call it show business and not show art."

Vince, known for playing mentally troubled characters, won a guest actor Emmy in 1997 for his role as a serial killer on the series "Murder One."
