Pssst — want to buy Prince’s house? You’ll probably have your chance soon, and there’s a few to choose from.

A judge has given the go-ahead for Bremer Trust, National Association, the special adminstrator of Prince’s estate, to sell off seven of the deceased “Purple Rain” singer’s properties, according to court papers obtained by TheWrap.

The order handed down on Thursday notes that the sales are necessary to satisfy the financial obligations of the singer’s estate, stating: “It is in the best interest of the Estate to initiate the sale process given the costs of maintaining those properties and the Estate’s need to secure funds necessary to meet the Estate’s ongoing and expected financial obligations.”

Of the seven properties green-lit for sale, Prince’s famed Paisley Park residence isn’t one of them. In fact, in July the Bremer trust noted that it intended to sell 16 properties, though Thursday’s order notes that eight of those are not ready to be listed.

Of the seven that will be going up for sale, six are in Chanhassen, Minnesota — where Paisley Park is also located — while a seventh is located in Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean.

Bremer withdrew its request to sell another property following the objection of Omarr Baker, who claimed “a life estate in that residence.”

The properties won’t be going on the market at fire-sale prices; Bremer will list the properties “for an amount not less than 90 percent of the appraised fair market value.”

Prince died on April 21 at age 57 of what the coroner later determined to be an overdose of the opioid fentanyl. According to court papers filed after his death, the singer left no will. However, last month, a judge narrowed down the list of potential heirs considerably, eliminating dozens of people who had laid claim to an inheritance.
