Zombies? Time travel? The return of familiar faces? TheWrap‘s Jethro Nededog sat down with “Psych” star James Roday for all the details about Season 8 before Wednesday’s premiere on USA Network.
“It was sort of a thank-you season for the fans, like how many little gifts can we give them,” Roday said about the fun-filled season.

In what Roday thinks is one of the coolest things ever, “we picked an episode from the first season of the show that had potential but maybe wasn’t executed as well as it should have been, and we re-did it and souped it up and made it better.” The episode brings back “Psych” all-stars and fan favorites, revolving around actor Michael Weston. Regarding the longevity of the show, Roday is confident that “Psych” keeps it fresh.
“I feel like we’re still putting it out there in a way that the fans deserve, so I feel good about it.”
