‘Ragdoll’: A Serial Killer Crafts Dolls Out of Body Parts in First Trailer for AMC+ Series (Video)

The series premieres Nov. 11 exclusively on AMC+

AMC+ has released the first look at its upcoming thriller series “Ragdoll,” but fair warning: It’s not for the faint of heart.

The six-part AMC+ original series follows a team of UK detectives hunting down a serial killer who murders, dismembers and then sews the body parts of various victims into one grotesque body. Henry Lloyd-Hughes plays DS Nathan Rose, a hotheaded detective who’s just been reinstated. Thalissa Teixeira plays Rose’s boss, DI Emily Baxter, and Lucy Hale (“Pretty Little Liars”) plays the unit’s newest recruit, DS Lake Edmunds. The case is thrown for a loop when Rose pops up on a list of future victims the serial killer is targeting.

The series hails from lead writer and executive producer Freddy Syborn (“Ms. Marvel”) and is executive produced and commissioned by AMC and UKTV’s Alibi.

“Ragdoll” is the latest original series to premiere on AMC+, which previously hosted the debuts of “Gangs of London,” “The North Water,” “Kin” and other new series. The streaming service is also home to commercial-free library titles like “Mad Men,” “Rectify” and “Orphan Black.”

“Ragdoll” will premiere exclusively on AMC+ on Thursday, Nov. 11, with new episodes premiering every Thursday on the streaming service.
