Ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Holds Ground Versus NBA Finals Championship Clincher

Like ABC, final numbers for Fox’s Women’s World Cup contest will be out later on Wednesday

America's Got Talent

ABC’s Game 6 of the NBA Finals dominated its competition on Tuesday night, though “America’s Got Talent” stayed mostly steady for second-place NBC.

“I Can Do That!” — which uses “AGT” as a lead-in — dropped 19 percent week-over-week, however. CBS and CW aired all reruns in primetime.

Like ABC, for Fox, ratings from its Women’s World Cup game will be out later on Wednesday. Fast national numbers for both networks are unreliable, due to the nature of live sports.

ABC was first in ratings with a 6.2 rating/20 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 16.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night” at 8 p.m. posted a 3.6/14 and 10.4 million viewers. “NBA Countdown” at 8:30 earned a 4.8/17 and 12.8 million viewers. Game 6 itself scored a 7.2/23 and 18.9 million viewers. Readers can click the above “Also Read” link for the game‘s overnight and local market numbers.
